Stafford police searching for man on the run after allegedly shooting woman Police Crime Scene (KPRC/Click2Houston.com)
Stafford police are searching for a man on the run after they believe he shot a woman.
At approximately 12:07 p.m. Monday, Stafford Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 12900 block of Sugar Ridge Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspected shooter, whom authorities have identified as Jeremy Banguero, fled the scene in a red 2023 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas license plate SSF-5049.
The victim received immediate medical attention and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition remains undisclosed at this time.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident and working to locate the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Stafford Police Department at (281) 261-3950.
