Crash involving heavy truck downs power lines, diverting traffic on I-45 at Research Forest

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Traffic on the northbound main lanes of I-45 at Research Forest is being diverted to the feeder road due to a crash involving power lines across the roadway, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash, involving a heavy truck, was reported at 5:25 p.m. on IH-45 northbound at Wellman Road in Montgomery County.
Driver should expect delays in the area.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
