Nine children were taken to a hospital after a Fort Bend ISD school bus was hit in a minor collision with an SUV Monday morning.
The incident was reported at around 9:55 a.m. near the 1500 block of Rusk Street.

HFD officials announced that the school bus collided with an SUV that was heading to the Houston Astros’ Daikin Park. It’s unclear why the SUV was going to the ballpark.
There were 47 people on the bus, which included adults and fifth grade students. Nine children were transported to Texas Children’s Hospital, but HFD said this was done for precautionary measures.
