A man was shot multiple times early this morning in an attempted robbery outside an apartment complex in northwest Houston.
Just after midnight, a man in his 20s was shot outside the Diamond Ridge Apartments at Antoine Drive and West Little York.

Authorities say two suspects in a gray sedan confronted the victim as he was returning home.
When the man tried to flee toward his apartment, the suspects opened fire, striking him multiple times in his lower extremities. Despite his injuries, he managed to reach a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Authorities have said that nothing was taken during the attempted robbery. The suspects fled the scene in the gray sedan.
Houston Police and Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after the shooting, and an investigation is underway.
At this time, no further details about the suspects have been released. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
