Candlelight vigil to be held honoring life of murdered 20-year-old Pasadena man

PASADENA, Texas – A candlelight vigil is scheduled to be held Thursday honoring the life of 20-year-old Payas Deo.
The vigil is scheduled to be held at the Reserve Recreation Center located at 5837 El Dorado Blvd in Houston. It is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Deo went missing after leaving his home in The Reserve at Clear Lake around 8 p.m. on the evening of Feb. 8, according to his family. When he pulled out of the driveway of their Peony Meadow Trail home, he would not be heard from or seen again.
Texas EquuSearch and the Pasadena Police Department searched for Deo after he was reported missing.
Last Saturday, Deo’s body was found in southeast Houston near Dumas Street, according to Pasadena Police.
Medical examiners say the Pasadena man died from gunshot wounds to the head and neck area. They also ruled his death a homicide.
