Person dies after being hit by train in Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a tragic accident involving a train and a pedestrian at the intersection of Hazy Hollow Lane and FM 1774.

Sadly, the individual involved did not survive the incident.

The Homicide and Violent Crime Unit, in collaboration with federal railroad authorities, is examining the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.

Local authorities have expressed their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones affected by this loss.

As a result of the investigation, several roads in the area are impacted. Misty Meadows Drive at FM 1774 and North Cripple Creek Drive at FM 1774 are affected. Commuters are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
