Overturned dump truck blocks westbound service road of Northwest Freeway at Jones Road in Jersey Village

JERSEY VILLAGE, Texas – An overturned dump truck has blocked the westbound lanes of the Northwest Freeway service road in Jersey Village.

Jersey Village Police say the truck was overloaded and turned over as it was going to turn right onto the service road from Jones Road.

No injuries have been reported, but there is debris scattered across the road.

The service road is currently shut down at Jones Road as crews work to clear the debris.

Police ask that people avoid the area and find an alternative route until the scene clears.
