Woman dies after violent crash into SW Houston car dealership lot
HOUSTON – Houston police believe a driver may have been impaired when she crashed into the lot of car dealership in Southwest Houston.

Investigators said the woman was speeding on the Southwest Freeway frontage road near Club Creek Drive at about 11 p.m. Saturday.
They said the unidentified woman lost control of her vehicle, crashed into the barrier of the Toyota Sterling McCall dealership and hit a parked car.

Police said the vehicle flipped and the woman was thrown out of it.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died.
“We know that speed is definitely a factor, but preliminary information tells us that some sort of impairment may also be involved,” said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.
