The Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office say the investigation began on Tuesday when a report was made against Aveilhe. Authorities say Aveilhe was employed as a worship leader at the Breath of Life Church in Conroe. The young girl he is accused of abusing also attended the church, according to the constable’s office.

The girl was interviewed at Children’s Safe Harbor in Conroe where she told authorities about the abuse.

On Jan. 30, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a home in Conroe looking for more evidence. Aveilhe was later arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

Breath Life Church has made the following statements regarding the press release from Constable Ryan Gable’s office:

  1. Sean was not employed by the church.
  2. The allegations are currently unproven and did not occur at the church.
  3. The Pastor promptly reported the allegations to authorities.

“The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office encourages anyone with concerns or pertinent information to reach out to Precinct 3 at 281-364-4211 and ask to speak with the lead detective handling this case,” the constable’s office says.
