HOUSTON – Authorities are working to rescue a person stuck inside a manhole in a southside Houston backyard Friday afternoon.
Details are limited, so it’s unclear how the man got trapped inside the hole, but emergency crews were called to a home on Balkin and Milart Street just before noon.

At last check, emergency crews confirmed the man is upright and breathing but Houston firefighters are working to get him out.
