White House rescinds federal aid freeze memo after internal pressure

The Trump administration reversed a controversial memo that froze most federal grants and loans, NBC News reports.
This reversal came just a day after the initial freeze was implemented, following significant criticism from various quarters. The decision to rescind the freeze highlights the administration’s responsiveness to feedback and the complexities involved in federal financial policies.
