One man is in the hospital following a shooting near Acres Homes

Houston – According to HPD, officers were called to a home on Wilburforce Street and Carver road at 2:30 Sunday morning.

Investigators found a man had been shot in the stomach and he was transported to the hospital. The victim is currently in critical condition.

Investigators say the suspect has been detained.
