CYPRESS, Texas – A person was flown to the hospital after a small chase ended with a major crash in northwest Harris County overnight Friday.

Details are limited, so it’s unclear how everything unfolded or where the chase started. Still, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said it ended sometime after midnight with the driver crashing on Huffmeister and Telge Road in Cypress .
Both roadways were shut down for several hours.

The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released as of this writing, looked like they crashed in a wooded area near an apartment complex. At least one person was flown to a hospital but constable deputies did not disclose who was taken.
