KPRC 2′s Athlete of the Week: Shadow Creek’s Bryce Jackson and future Houston Cougar
HOUSTON – This week’s KPRC 2 UTMB Athlete of the Week goes to a future Houston Cougar .

Shadow Creek’s Bryce Jackson is not just one of the best players in the city, he’s one of the best players in the state who does it all on the court. The senior forward has helped lead the Sharks to the top of their district and is a versatile weapon for head coach, David President.
“He’s going to give you a little bit of everything,” President said. “He’s a high school matchup nightmare. He defends extremely well.”

It’s a big reason why the Houston Cougars picked up Jackson as a commit in the 2025 class.
“I’m very energetic,” he said. “I’m very hard-working. I’m a big energy guy. People just love to see it.”
