CYPRESS, Texas – For the Houston area, this year’s Christmas Eve brought the gift of rain—and then some. Strong thunderstorms hit the area throughout the night, and one business in Cypress was left in disrepair after the chaotic weather.
The AutoZone store located at 13739 Cypress N Houston had its roof collapse on the far back side of its building.
An Insider alerted KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding to the situation, and he visited the store Thursday. The manager confirmed that the storms in the early morning hours of Christmas Day had caused the damage.

The manager tells me the store was closed and no one was inside. There’s a significant amount of damage.
