Toddler unintentionally shoots mother inside vehicle in southwest Harris County
HOUSTON – A mother was hospitalized after being unintentionally shot by her 3-year-old toddler inside a vehicle near the area of Alief, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting was reported in the 13800 block of Bissonnet Street.
Deputies said the toddler got a hold of a firearm that was left on the console of the vehicle and unintentionally discharged.
The mother was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injury.
No other details at this time.
