HOUSTON – Authorities in west Houston are piecing together what led up to a deadly shooting Sunday evening.
It happened a little after 5 p.m. when officers with the Houston Police Department were called to a convenience store on Richmond Avenue and Dunvale Road.
That’s where two men were found shot and rushed to a hospital. One of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the other died from his.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between a gunman, who took off before they arrived, and one of the victims.
No additional information has been shared, as of this writing, but police are continuing their investigation by combing through surveillance videos and asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
