Authorities are piecing together what exactly caused a man’s death Tuesday night in north Houston after he was initially reported to have had a seizure, but was found to have “signs of trauma.”
Houston police said they were called around 10:30 or 11 p.m. on Hirsch Road near East Crosstimbers Street after a man in his late 60s was found on the ground.

Witnesses told investigators someone who knew the man called his relatives to let him know where he was and that he possibly had a seizure.
However, emergency crews found the man had signs of trauma to his neck and his head.
HPD Lt. Willkens said his family lives nearby and frequently likes to hang around the area, so they are speaking with witnesses to determine what happened as part of their ongoing investigation.
