LA PORTE, Texas – A man was killed after police say he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a traffic light in La Porte Sunday.
La Porte Police say it happened at around 10 a.m. at the intersection of W. Fairmont and Canada Road.

Police say the man was driving a white, two-door vehicle westbound on W. Fairmont and lost control of the vehicle. Due to the road conditions, the vehicle left the roadway collided with the traffic signal pole on Canada Road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other juvenile passengers were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
