Driver in chase with Houston police seen turning car’s lights on and off
HOUSTON – Authorities have a man behind bars Wednesday after he led them on a high-speed chase that ended with him crashing in northeast Houston.

It happened a little before 12:45 a.m. when the Houston Police Department said they tried pulling the unidentified man over inside the loop near the Galleria, but he refused to stop and a brief chase ensued.
During the chase, investigators said the man was driving about 100 miles per hour and was turning his lights on and off while police tried to catch him.

The chase then took them on 59 before getting to I-10 and then ultimately 610 East Fwy, before he crashed on the surface streets on Des Chaumes.
After the driver crashed out, police said he ran away from the scene but was found at a home nearby on Vintage, where he was taken into custody.
