METRO bus driver attacked, stabbed in NW Houston, suspect arrested

A METRO bus driver was stabbed Friday morning near Highway 249 and Gessner, sustaining injuries in an assault that happened shortly before 8 a.m.
According to Metro officials, the driver was attacked and suffered cuts to the hand, head, and shoulder.
The driver was treated at the scene, and METRO personnel confirmed that the suspect was also arrested by police.
