SOUTHEAST HOUSTON – Houston Police are investigating after two teens were hurt during a shooting in southeast Houston.
The incident happened at an apartment complex in the 9600 block of Clearwood Drive and Meldrum Lane around 12:30 a.m Sunday.

HPD says the two teens, both 15-years-old, were hanging out in the apartment’s courtyard when an unknown man approached them, and started a physical fight. Police say during the fight, the man pulled out a gun and fired.
One teen was hit in the stomach several times, and another teen, a girl, was grazed by the bullets.

HPD reports the pair drove themselves to a nearby hospital, where the teen who was shot in the stomach, was life-flighted to Texas Children’s Hospital in serious condition. The other teen grazed by bullets, is expected to be okay.
Investigators say no one has been arrested.
