HOUSTON – Many people already know cities like Houston are extremely diverse but for those who didn’t, Texas — at least according to a recent study, was ranked the second most diverse state in the country.
Researchers at WalletHub compared diversity across all 50 states, narrowing it down to several different categories including socioeconomic, cultural, religious, and political diversity.
The results should not come as a surprise to native Texans that the Lone Star State would be high up in the ranks, but maybe not second highest. California outranked Texas in terms of most diverse.
