HOUSTON – Tell us something we don’t know, right? Well, in case you forgot: Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the U.S.

A recent survey from WalletHub looked at 500 of the largest cities in the U.S. to find the most diverse across several factors including socioeconomic, cultural, household, and religious.

Their findings led researchers to rank Houston as the fourth most diverse city in the U.S. Space City beat other Texas cities like Arlington and Dallas, which took the fifth and eighth spots, respectively.

This was the second consecutive year WalletHub ranked Houston as the fourth most diverse city in the U.S.

Surprisingly, three cities in Maryland took the first three spots for most diverse, while cities that you’d think were more diverse were ranked a little lower. For example, New York and New Jersey took the sixth and seventh place.
