These Southeast Texas school districts start class this week

Students at several Southeast Texas school districts will be heading back to class this week.

The largest districts headed back to school this week are Galena Park ISD, Humble ISD, and Fort Bend ISD.

Houston ISD, the largest district in the area, will head back to class on Monday, Aug. 12.

• Cleveland ISD - Liberty, San Jacinto, Montgomery counties
• Corrigan-Camden ISD - Polk County
• Ezzell ISD - Lavaca County

Wednesday, Aug. 7

• Chester ISD - Polk and Tyler counties
• Galena Park ISD - Harris County
• Groveton ISD - Trinity County
• Huffman ISD - Harris County
• Hull-Daisetta ISD - Liberty County
• Humble ISD - Harris County
• Livingston ISD - Polk County
• Louise ISD - Wharton County
• New Caney ISD - Montgomery and Harris counties
