Track outages here: Heavy rain leads to power outages across the region
Thousands Without Power as Heavy Rain Hits Area (Pexels)
As heavy rain drenches the area, numerous power outages have been reported, leaving thousands of residents without electricity.
A flash flood watch will be in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday night, potentially causing more than just street flooding.

As a result of the severe weather, power outages have been reported across multiple counties. As of 7 a.m., 3,180 CenterPoint customers are without power, while 55,670 customers have been restored in the last 24 hours.
Entergy has reported the following outages by county as of 6:47 a.m.:
Montgomery: 1,691 affected customers
San Jacinto: 158 affected customers

Texas-New Mexico Power had one reported outage as of 6:53 a.m.
