Ground stop issued at Houston’s Bush Airport as thunderstorms continue to move across the area

The ground stop was put into place around 1 p.m. and is expected to last for an hour.
Departures from George Bush Intercontinental Airport are also experiencing an average delay time of 60 minutes and increasing due to thunderstorms.
