Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on I-45 at Edgebrook

A pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on Interstate 45 northbound at Edgebrook late Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officers from the Vehicular Crimes Division responded to the scene at 10:06 p.m. but found no information or witnesses to the crash. The vehicle involved did not stop, and police are currently seeking the driver responsible.

HPD will review security camera footage from the area and conduct a canvass to gather more information.
Authorities are also investigating why the pedestrian was on the highway.
