Snake found under sleeping baby’s bed at northwest Harris County home

HOUSTON – A family in northwest Harris County called for help after a snake was found under their sleeping baby’s bed, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

Constables responded to the home, located in the 4200 block of Brookhead Trail, Thursday morning in regards to a snake being inside the home.

The 5-inch nonlethal baby snake was safely removed from under the child’s bed. There have been no reports of injuries.

It is unknown how the snake slithered inside the house or into the child’s bedroom.

Now that summer is here, the temperature is getting hotter, mosquitoes are making their way into our backyards, and don’t forget about snakes.
