HOUSTON – A Tomball resident has claimed a $3 million prize after purchasing a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket at a northwest Houston store.
The Texas Lottery Commission said the second-tier prize winning ticket was purchased at the Polar Express #3 located at 2340 Blalock Road.
The drawing was held May 24.
The winner elected to remain anonymous.
“The winning Quick Pick ticket with Megaplier® matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (46-54-56-67-70), but not the Mega Ball number (16). The Megaplier number was 3,” the Texas Lottery Commission said.
