14-year-old in critical condition after being shot in SW Houston

HOUSTON – A 14-year-old boy is reportedly in critical condition after he was shot in southwest Houston Sunday.

HPD says it happened around 7:30 p.m. at 6111 Glenmont Drive.

Police arrived and found the teenager with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

He was transported to the hospital and is currently being treated. He is reportedly in critical condition.

Police say they have no information regarding a suspect or suspects at this time.

They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
