A Houston-area man is in critical condition after being shot by Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Officials responded to 14625 Henry Road in Aldine regarding a situation involving a man having a mental health episode. During the encounter, a deputy fired his weapon at the man, striking him.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
We don’t have any further information on the man’s identity, and it’s currently unclear what transpired that led to the man being shot.
