The Spring Fire Department said it happened at a home on Low Ridge Road in the Postwood subdivision.

The department the family was surprised as a huge part of a tree came through the roof of the home.
Firefighters were called after the family reported smelling smoke after the tree came through the roof. Firefighters were at the home within four minutes of the call, but no fire was found.
