Houston man accused of strangling brother to death

A Houston man accused of murdering his brother during an argument was arraigned in Harris County District Court May 1.
Malu Reese Kyota, 24, was charged with murder in the April 30 death of Keanu Risaburo Kyota.

According to the arrest affidavit, Malu Kyota strangled and murdered his brother during an argument. The affidavit states that Kyota caused the death of his brother by applying pressure to his brother’s neck with his hand and arm.
Malu Kyota is being held in lieu of $1 million dollar bond.
