Authorities searching for missing person after boat capsizes near Lake Houston dam

HOUSTON – Authorities are searching for a missing person after a boat capsized near the Lake Houston dam Tuesday.

Authorities monitoring for major flooding along E. Fork of San Jacinto River in NE Harris, SE Montgomery Counties

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said one person was rescued after the boat overturned. Another person is currently missing.

A HCSO dive team has responded to help search for the missing person. The Houston Fire Department is also at the scene.

The search is under the Lake Houston dam in the San Jacinto River.
