HOUSTON – A man is facing serious jail time after authorities found he’d been posing as a teenage boy and sent inappropriate photos to several young girls.
According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office - Southern District of Texas, George Jimenez, 45, of Brazoria, was found guilty Wednesday by a federal judge. Court records claim Jimenez was having sexually explicit conversations with minors by disguising himself as a teenage boy from March 2019 through April of the same year.
A federal search was launched by authorities in April 2019 and found Jimenez had sent pictures of his genitals to a 13-year-old girl as well as five of her 12 and 13-year-old classmates.
His official sentencing will be June 12, when a judge will decide if he should spend 10 years to life in federal prison as well as a $250,000 maximum fine.
