Man shot after a domestic dispute in west Houston

A domestic dispute between a man, woman and small child escalated to the man being shot early Sunday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. at the 3400 block of Walnut Bend.

The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
