Spring movie theater closes after roof fire, nobody injured

SPRING, Texas – A Cinemark movie theater in Spring closed Saturday morning after a fire broke out on the roof.
The theater is located at 21440 Kuykendahl Rd.
An image of the fire after it was extinguished. (KPRC 2) The theater’s manager noticed the smell of smoke as he was taking out garbage to begin the day. He went on the roof, where he saw the flames. The blaze reportedly started from the neon sign on the roof of the building.
The theater was not open when the fire was reported, and no employees were injured.
