CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Child murder suspect Terry Bryan Rivera has been returned to Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY – The man accused of killing 12-year-old Carlos Fernandez has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office posted a video on X capturing Terry Bryan Rivera’s perp walk.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez congratulated the multiple agencies involved in taking Rivera into custody.
Border patrol agents found Rivera just a few steps away from crossing the border into Mexico on Monday, and he was initially booked him into the Cameron County jail.
The suspect is charged with capital murder in the death of Carlos Fernandez, the son of his ex-girlfriend.
Rivera was caught just hours after Carlos was laid to rest by his family.
