The men are also accused of jugging people in other parts of the Houston area.

These arrests are the result of several investigations by Pearland PD’s Special Investigations Unit. In Oct. 2023 and Nov. 2023, police responded to six jugging incidents in Pearland.

People in their 70s and older were followed and robbed after they withdrew cash from their banks. The suspects also allegedly burglarized the victims’ cars to take their money they withdrew from the bank.

Police conducted an extensive investigation and arrested the five men.

“The Pearland Police Department extends its gratitude to our law enforcement partners, including the Houston Police Department, the Department of Public Safety, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, for their invaluable assistance throughout this investigation,” Pearland PD said.
