Person of interest detained for threat against Klein Forest High School

A person of interest has been detained in connection to an email threat that was made against Klein Forest High School in northwest Harris County on Tuesday, the Klein Independent School District said. (Sky 2)

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A person of interest has been detained in connection to an email threat that was made against Klein Forest High School in northwest Harris County on Tuesday, the Klein Independent School District said.

The school was placed on secure status earlier, which means that no one was allowed to enter or leave the building. The status has since been lifted.

Students will be released from school at their regular time and there will be extra police at the campus.

The school is in the 11400 block of Misty Valley Drive in the Klein community.

Officials did not state what the threat said.
