Police searching for man after he allegedly shot, killed his ex-girlfriend in west Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend in west Houston Wednesday evening.

It happened in the 3600 block of Dunvale Road near Richmond shortly after 8 p.m.

Details on what led to the shooting are unknown at this time.

The woman, whose age is unknown at this time, was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Police said the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
