1 teen in critical condition, 3 others injured after suspect opens fire at north Harris County party

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One teenager is in critical condition and three other teens were injured in a shooting in north Harris County on Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies received a call about a shooting at a party in the 4400 block of Mooney Road around 12:30 a.m.

There were about 75 juveniles at the event, and a person later started shooting a gun.

When deputies arrived, they found a 17-year-old, who had been shot in the leg and another who had been shot in the back.

Two other teens arrived at local hospitals with gunshot wounds. There were four victims in total.

One of them is a 19-year-old that is in critical condition. Two other victims are 17 years old, and a third person is 18 years old.

The other teenagers are in fair condition and expected to be OK.

Authorities are still looking for a suspect, who has not been identified. The names of the teens have not been released as well.
