2 dead, 2 injured after rollover crash following police chase in SE Houston

Two people are dead and two others were injured after a high-speed police chase in southeast Houston.

According to Houston police, officers tried to pull over a car that had been flagged as stolen on the Gulf Freeway and South Loop.

The driver of that car did not stop and took police on a chase where he later spun out on the South Loop exit.

Police said that there were two men, believed to be between 18 and 20 years old, sitting in the front seat. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others in the vehicle were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
