HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a person has died after their vehicle crashed into a light pole in the Aldine area Sunday.
It happened at the intersection of Airline Drive and E. Mitchell Road.

The sheriff’s office said the driver was confirmed dead at the scene.
The southbound lanes of Airline Drive are currently shut down as deputies investigate.
