HOUSTON – Charges have been filed against a man wanted in November’s double shooting in Kashmere Gardens.
The suspect, Quendarious Emerson, 26, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A 2022 booking photo of Emerson, who is not in custody, was released to the public.

The shooting happened on Nov. 21 inside of a club, located in the 3400 block of Cavalcade Street about 1:55 a.m.
Police said one guy and four women were reportedly out at a club on Cavalcade Street. One of the women said a man who was inside of the venue inappropriately touched her.
Tensions escalated, but according to police, the party continued. As the group was leaving, someone with a gun approached the vehicle of five and opened fire. The man, 30, was struck several times, the woman, 33, was shot in the lower leg.
Both were taken to a local hospital where they are expected to survive.
Further investigation identified Emerson as the suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting on Dec. 19.
