Mainlanes on Katy Freeway closed at Chimney Rock Road due to 3-vehicle accident

HOUSTON – A three-vehicle accident on the Katy Freeway has closed all westbound mainlanes as emergency crews responded to the scene on Saturday.

The accident was reported at 4:10 a.m. on the Katy Freeway at Chimney Rock Road.

Houston police said several people who were injured in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Delays are expected as crews work to clear debris.
