No flight delays reported after 2 private planes collide at Hobby Airport

HOUSTON – Two private planes collided on the tarmac at Signature Aviation at the William P. Hobby Airport in Houston on Wednesday, and no flight delays were reported due to the incident.

Around 12 p.m., the front of a jet came in contact with the wing of a second jet in the 7800 block of Airport Boulevard.

When KPRC 2′s Daji Aswad arrived on scene there were no flames or fuel smells.

KPRC 2 reached out to Signature Aviation, and they declined to comment. We also reached out to the National Transportation Safety Board, and it said it is aware of the incident and collecting more information at this time.
