Silver Alert issued for 69-year-old man out of Hempstead

HEMPSTEAD, Texas – A Silver Alert was issued on Monday for a 69-year-old man out of Hempstead, Texas, who was last seen on Sunday.

Authorities are looking for Leonard Wilson. He is six feet and one inch tall and weighs 210 pounds.

Wilson was last seen around 2 p.m. on 645 Highway 290 East. He was wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and beige shoes. He is believed to be driving a silver Chevrolet Malibu with the Texas license plate RFT9606.

The vehicle has a small dent in the driver’s door and should have a sign for handicapped people.
