Drive-by shooting leaves person injured in north Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON – Authorities say a drive-by shooting left one person injured from a gunshot wound in north Houston on Saturday.

According to Houston police, the shooting occurred around 6:38 p.m. in the 15440 block of Chipman Lane near Goodson.

Police have not identified the person who was injured. The suspect reportedly fled the scene.

Investigation to determine a motive for the shooting is underway.
